Stuffed Cabbage Leaves

Ingredients
 
  • 1-1/2 cups cooked Lowell Farms Jasmine Rice (White)

  • 1-1/2 lb. ground beef

  • 4 Tbl. onion, grated

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1 tsp. salt

  • 1 tsp. thyme

  • 12 large cabbage leaves

  • 3 cups canned tomato sauce

Directions

Combine meat with onion and sauté in butter. Drain off fat.
Add rice, salt, thyme. Mix well. Cook cabbage leaves in boiling
water 1 minutes. Drain and pat dry. Spoon meat mixture on
center of leaves. Roll and secure with toothpicks. Place in
greased shallow baking dish. Cover with tomato sauce. Cover
and bake 45 minutes at 325 degrees.
