Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked Lowell
Farms Jasmine Rice (White)
- 1 bunch green onions,
chopped
- 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tblsp. butter
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 tsp. chicken concentrate
- dash white pepper
Directions
Saute green onions and
bell pepper in butter in a heavy 3 quart pot. Add Jasmine Rice,
water, and seasonings, stir. Bring to a boil, cover, and cook 15
minutes. Turn off burner and let steam while you are preparing the
rest of your meal. Do not lift the lid until ready to serve. Toss
with a fork.
Variation: Add 1 tsp.
curry powder and 1/3 cup raisins before cooking.
